Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears celebrates the awarding of scholarships to Phoebus students

Phoebus High School proudly welcomed Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears for an extraordinary event, where seven deserving JROTC students were honored with scholarship checks totaling over $2 million. These scholarships, made possible through the support of Stand & Serve, a dedicated non-profit organization, pave the way for our students' bright futures by fostering partnerships with HBCUs, public universities, and the military.

Lt. Governor Earle-Sears said to the students, “Look what you have done! We are all here to celebrate your accomplishments. You chose to live a certain way that resulted in us being here today to celebrate that choice.”

David Coccoli, executive principal of Phoebus High School, warmly welcomed families and special guests to witness this momentous occasion. He highlighted that these scholarships not only provide financial support but also serve as a testament to the students' exceptional abilities, unwavering character, and limitless potential.
