Students make their selection of future education on National Decision Day

Most colleges and universities around the country traditionally mark May 1 as the deadline for accepted students to commit to the college or university of their choice.

In Hampton, the following students participated on May 1 by making their selection.

“As the college and career coach for Kecoughtan High School and Phoebus High School, it is an honor to celebrate the Class of 2024,” said Alicia Lanier. “Our seniors experienced the opportunity to make lasting memories with their classmates through donations from the community, activities, and good music. Our young people celebrated in style and it brings me joy to know that their 24K Decision Day was a success.”
